Stand installation and dismantling

Installation and dismantling (I&D) is the on-site work of building a stand in the hall during build-up and removing it after the show. If you already own a stand or have it fabricated elsewhere, a local I&D crew saves you flying a team in. StandsZone Global lists builders that offer installation in each exhibition country.

98 builders offering on-site installation across 27 countries on StandsZone Global.

How it works

  1. 01

    Send drawings and inventory

Stand drawings, a packing list and photos of previous builds help the crew plan labour and tools.

  2. 02

    Agree the schedule

Match crew size and hours to the organiser’s build-up and breakdown times.

  3. 03

    Build and check

The stand is assembled, inspected and handed over before opening.

  4. 04

    Dismantle and dispatch

After close, the crew dismantles, packs and releases goods for collection.

Frequently asked questions

Why use a local installation crew?

A crew based near the venue avoids travel costs and usually knows local labour rules, union or venue requirements, and the contractors you will need to work with.

Can a crew install a stand built by another company?

Yes. Provide clear drawings and an inventory; experienced crews regularly install stands they did not fabricate.

What happens if build-up runs late?

Organisers set strict deadlines and may charge for overtime. Agree crew size and contingency time with the builder in advance.
